==Background==
The Montfort Academy is an award-winning classical, Catholic high school. Named after St. Louis de Montfort, the Montfort Academy is unique as a Catholic school as it was founded by a layman, rather than by the diocese or a religious order.
The academic program of The Montfort Academy reflects a four-year classical education curriculum. Courses in Latin, mathematics, astronomy, biology, chemistry, physics, history, grammar, logic, rhetoric, literature, fine arts, Italian language and culture, philosophy, and theology are required. Other courses in Greek, Spanish, economics, architecture, and many others are offered.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=The curriculum )
